Hatha Yoga 哈達瑜伽

The Sanskrit word for Hatha, ha means "sun" and tha means "moon".  Hatha Yoga combines asana (posture) and pranayama (breathing exercises) with even breathing and poses are generally held for long periods of time, connects the body and mind with the purpose of increasing awareness and stability, feels the energy flowing in the body, focuses on the present moment, relaxes and calms the body and mind.

 

哈達瑜伽的梵文為 Hatha,ha 意指「太陽」,tha 則意指「月亮」。哈達瑜伽為一種結合式子 (體位法) 與調息法 (呼吸法),搭配均勻的呼吸練習跟長時間的動作停留,提升覺知以及穩定性,感受能量在體內流動,專注當下,達到放鬆和平靜身心。

 

Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
